We will be finishing up our Christmas shoots this coming weekend, but here are some shots from some of the families we already got. Enjoy!

Meet Tyler. DuBois Area High School 2016 Senior.
Last week my husband was subbing and he came home telling me a story. He explained, "I had a kid in class today and we started talking about hockey. Turns out he is on your brother's hockey team. He thinks Brandon is pretty awesome." I thought this was pretty cool but Gabe couldn't remember his name. Fast forward a week... I met Tyler. As I'm briefing him on the shoot -- he blurts out, I had your husband for a teacher last week. I said oh ya? He said yep and I play hockey with your brother. There you go, small world but - MEET TYLER. Tyler plays hockey and loves to hunt.(Carley decided to bare me the smell of Tyler's hockey gear -- growing up with my brother playing hockey, I thanked her for that! So we didn't take any hockey shots) But I think he started actually, maybe enjoying the shoot towards the end. Regardless, it was a fun shoot and I'm super pumped with how your photos turned out. Good luck with your senior year, hockey season, and hunting season! :) When in the world did my baby transform from a newborn to a wiggling, talking, little man? He is in such an incredible stage and we love watching him learn new things each day. He turned 4 months old on Saturday September 26th. That evening he slept in his room for the first time (He slept from 10-5) mommy on the other hand... had a bit of a rough time. Although I did not cry, so I'm proud of myself for that. :) Here are some shots from our little guy's 4 month shoot. You melt my heart sweet boy.
Little Hunter. Hunter was due on my husbands birthday August 12th. He decided to make his entrance into the world on July 13th. All 5 lbs of him. I have to chuckle, for my little Jude Dude now looks like a giant since I've held Hunter. I asked Paige how Hunter was doing, and she explained he eats every three hours and sleeps mostly. Hunter again surprised his Mama -- he was awake 95% of the 2.5 hour shoot. All good, we just adjusted. Paige and Chad -- Hunter is so very handsome. Congrats and welcome to Parenthood! Congrats again Covatch family... Hunter David is absolutely adorable!
Katie and I have been friends since Middle School days. I can't believe we are old enough to have kids and families of our own. I've taken JT's pictures for several occasions, but today we took some shots to celebrate his 5 years of life. I'm not sure how he can be FIVE already, but he is. Here is to a fun, smart, handsome guy with gorgeous eye lashes and a love for superheros ;) And a few with little brother Alex! :)
Happy Father's Day! Today's blog is dedicated to all the Daddy's out there. Gabe got to experience his first Father's Day this morning. It made my heart smile. My brother, Brandon gets to experience his first Father's Day with 2 little guys, now that Everett has a little brother. Which brings me to the reason of this blog. It is all about my nephew Mr. Emerson Brooks. Emerson was born exactly one week after Jude. He, like Jude, came RIGHT ON his due date. 9 lbs and 3 oz, 20 inches long -- he was a calm little butter ball with blonde hair (and we think blue eyes) He enjoys eating and sleeping and continues to with his calm temperament. Our shoot was funny, because instead of sleeping through it, he decided to keep those eyes open for most of it. He is def a sweet boy. Here are some shots from his nature shoot: After a quick snack and some snuggles, he did fall asleep. We also captured some shots of Emerson and Jude (well, we did our best) they both decided to wake up... and it got interesting... Lastly, we attempted a hockey shot like Everetts. The first is Everett at 2 weeks and the second is Emerson at 2 weeks. Brandon is hoping Emerson takes to hockey as well as Mr. Everrett did.
So I thought I was a picture freak prior to having a baby... I'm going to apologize now for the excessive posting of our baby boy, because I'm in love and I can't stop taking photos of him. Besides, I'm thinking you love him too, why else would you be reading this post? Jude is growing so fast and time is just flying by. It really is amazing that he came into this world 2 weeks ago already. I'm excited to share a few shots I was able to get the other day. Thank You Mima for helping me do this. :) {A photograph is life's pause button} Thanks for checking out our latest shoot. And as always, comments are appreciated!
There is a group of ladies that I graduated high school with -- that no matter how long it has been -- we always get together and jump back into things. Casey is part of this group. It amazes me how many of my friends are having babies right now. Casey will have this little guy (my guess) or gal in less than 2 weeks... and we can't wait to meet [him ;) ]. Case, it was so nice just hanging out this morning and I hope you love your photos! Boy or girl -- we'll find out December 31st (or sooner)
Sweet Kate. I could sit here and write a book, but instead I'm just going to say -- I love you and I'm beyond excited that your dreams are finally coming true. You have a sweet heart and an amazing personality. Gian, you are a lucky man. Congrats you two! [ Here is your "one" photo ;) ]
Meet Amanda & Joe. An adorable couple, anxiously awaiting the birth of their first child. This was a special shoot for me, because it was the first maternity shoot I've done since I found out I was expecting. [They gave me lots of helpful hints and tips for next 6 months of my pregnancy] They did not find out the gender, so in early December when Baby S arrives, they will be totally surprised. Congrats you 2 -- you will be lovely parents! :) |
