Thanks to Kalyn McGarvey (Who makes some amazing crafts through The Rusty Bucket), last summer I had a partner to go to yard sales with. This was the first time I really got into it. I learned quickly that you can hit a GREAT sale with some amazing finds or you can hit a junky sale and need to keep moving ASAP.
As I explained on my previous post we have a very modern/farm house look to our decorative style. I can say that only [one thing] I bought last year, I never used but I wanted to share the goodies and prices I spent on some of the “treasures” I purchased over the course of the year.
Check back often to see where I used these beauties and what I transformed them into! :)
3. My Texas bottle. First off, admit it, this bottle is amazing! It just looks awesome. I really could care less how old it is or if it has any value. I bought it because I love the color and look, but more importantly because it has Houston, Texas on it and every time I look at it my bestfriends the Mahaffeys pop into my mind! :) I paid 0.50 cents for this. |
